Waterless traps are manufactured of stainless steel by drawing and welded at the factory with fittings consistent with the flooring material. Waterless traps are used in connection with a trap fitted with a water seal into which they are connected using an additional connection.

The material strength of the mesh cover is 3.0 mm, but it is also available in more durable grades strong enough for a pallet jack (5.0 mm) and a forklift (8.0 mm). The cover can also be manufactured as the screw-in type.

The standard delivery comprises a trap complete with water insulation consistent with the flooring material and a mesh cover.
When placing an order for a trap, the customer should check the flooring material used in the intended location so that the trap can be factory-fitted with the correct type of water insulation.

The most important maintenance measure for the traps is to keep them clean.
When the mesh cover is removed, the drain can be cleaned and any potential blockages removed.
